Originally from Chicoutimi, Charles-Frédérick Ouellet, lives and works in Québec. His first opus, Le Naufrage (2010-2016), investigates the representation of the Saint-Laurence River as a reality imposed on the first seafarers to arrive on Canada's shores. Since 2010 his works hass been exhibited at more than locations across Quebec, Scotland, France and Greece. Charles is represented by the gallery Lacerte in Québec and by the agency Hans Lucas in Europe.
