Simon Émond (they/them) is a self-taught photographer born in 1992. He lives and works on unceded territory in Métabetchouan on the shores of Lac Saint-Jean. In 2020, he received his first grant from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. He was a part of the official selection of the Zoom Photo Festival last year. He recently co-published his first book, Rebâtir le Ciel, with Michel Lamelin.

Michel Lemelin (he/they) lives in unceded territory on the banks of the Saguenay River in Quebec. In 2018, he won first prize in the adult category, of the Damasse-Potvin literary prize. In 2020, he co-published Rebâtir le Ciel.
