Chris Donovan is a documentary photographer currently based in Toronto. Hailing from the industrial city of Saint John, New Brunswick, his practice focuses on documenting the coexistence of community and industry. His work has been recognized by POYi, The NNAs, and NPAC, including being named Canadian Photojournalist of the Year for 2017 and 2018. His clients include The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, Maclean's Magazine, The Washington Post, and others.
